S.M. Hewitt (Sarnia) Limited, previously operated as S.M. Hewitt Limited, established a customs brokerage company at the port of Sarnia in 1947. Although the staff remained the same, the ownership changed in 1978 to the Bogart family, which still owns and operates S.M. Hewitt (Sarnia) Limited.
